PLEASE NOTE THE TRAINING TIME OF 1:30PM. Parents should note that mouth guards should be worn by all players. The club follows the IRFU Long Term Player Development Model. This ensures an enjoyable and productive experience for all. The p3 group play non-contact 'Leprechaun' rugby. With the rest of the age groups playing varying degrees of contact rugby to the IRFU Mini rules.

WELCOME TO OUR NEW CONVENOR...
We are delighted to tell you that David Gowdy has accepted the role of Mini Rugby Convenor this year. Some of you will know David from coaching the younger players and already he is making an impact in the various elements of his role. We want to say a sincere thank you to Davy Henderson for his work and dedication as our outgoing convenor. There is a lot of organising, informing and encouraging needed for this role and we wish both Davys' all the very best. The senior club are showing great interest in our mini rugby and with their support things can only get better!
Training is going well!
This season has seen the mini section grow. We now have strong groups in p3, p4, p5 and p6. Along with the new Canterbury tops and the new main sponsor,Country Kids (thanks to Ian&Lisa Donnan), the minis' are looking and playing the part this season. We must again thank John Minnis for his continued sponsorship this season and to our other two new sponsors, Niall at njmphysio and Gordons Chemist. This season clubs have reverted back to class rather than year of birth.
NEW COACHES THIS SEASON A special thanks to the new coaches, that have arrived at the club this year, and to the coaches who attended the Ulster Branch coaches course and passed with flying colours, well so they tell us. Well done!
Youth Section! Calling all over 11 years old Following requests and the promise from young Vic, he will coach again! The club would be interested in any young person from age 11 up, who is interested in playing rugby, to contact us. Or call down on Sundays and speak to David or any of the coaches. No previous playing experience necessary.
